The National Survey on the Natural Environment is generally referred to as the "Green Census", and is designed to study the status of land, surface water, and coastal areas across the country. The survey results are compiled and published in the form of written reports, maps, etc. As basic data on the natural environment, they are utilized in the government's nature conservation policies including planning and designating national parks, as well as in regional planning, environmental surveys and other areas. |
