All participants learned about issues related to “Conservation of Biodiversity,” “Sustainable Use,” and “Awareness Raising, Promotion and Education about Ecosystem Issues,” the three main themes of the statement that was the final result of the conference. This learning activity was intended to generate ideas for the statement and action plan, thereby improving the overall results of the Youth Conference.

Presenters, who were selected from an open application process among participants, explained their latest biodiversity-related activities to share information with other participants, including the status of ecosystem issues as well as unique features and successful solutions.
