The Conference of Asian Youth on Biodiversity in Aichi 2009 was held in Nagoya City. 29 foreign youth members and 50 Japanese youth members participated in the conference and discussed the theme of "Maintenance of biodiversity in Asian region and its sustainable use". On the final day, the participants announced the results of the conference and the statement to the public.

Objectives
(1) To improve understanding of conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity
